The 2024 -2025 season will run from Monday 7th October 2024 to Friday 4th April 2025

Twilight is a popular and inclusive social golf competition for Playing and Social members where teams of up to 15 players play in a 25 week competition Twilight is the perfect environment to start playing golf Make up your own team or we can help you find a team to join.

  • A registration fee of $10 must be paid for each team member
  • Existing playing and social members do not need to pay membership at time of registration but must renew their memberships at the end of December to continue playing Twilight Golf
  • All new and existing Social Twilight Members must pay their membership fee of $10 to register for the competition. Twilight membership runs from 1st October to 30th September of the following year.

Registrations and Memberships (where necessary) need to be paid by FRIDAY 27th SEPTEMBER to help us get the competition ready.

YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AND HAVE A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP TO PLAY

Competition

The competition is a 9-Hole S/Ford event commencing Monday 7th October 2024.

  • All play shall be from YELLOW tees (unless the red marker is in front for females only).
  • The best 6 scores* from each team will count towards the team’s weekly and cumulative totals
  • As of Friday 28th March, the top 6 teams by cumulative points will qualify for the finals
  • Finals are to be played from Monday 31st March to Thursday 3rd April.
  • The $17.00 green fee must be paid to the Pro Shop prior to playing
  • Only cards supplied by the Starter will be accepted towards a Team’s score.
  • You can play as many times as you like each week but only your best score will be counted
  • Twilight Golf can be played any day of the week BUT please check with Pro Shop before playing your round for available times on that day
  • Please submit your card after playing either in the Clubhouse or at the Pro Shop. NO LATE CARDS (from previous weeks) will be accepted
  • Scores from the last 6 weeks of the competition will not be known to the players

Handicaps

  • All handicaps shall be at the discretion of the Handicapper
  • Players must play to their Twilight handicap supplied by the Starter 
  • Club handicaps are NOT to be used

Presentation Dinner

Each player must play a minimum of 6 weeks  (eg. if you play 3 times in one week it is still counted as 1 week) to be eligible to attend the Presentation Dinner to be held Friday 4 April 2025 at a mininmal cost. If the 6 weeks are not played, players may still attend at a cost of $45/person. Partners are welcome to attend at a cost of $45

  • RSVP + payment to the dinner are required by the due date (Friday 28th March).  Under NO circumstances will any late payments be accepted.
  • Team captains as well as Twilight players who have supplied their email addresses will be sent an invitation to the Presentation Dinner 1 month prior

Competition

  • The competition shall be a 9 Hole S/Ford event. All play shall be from yelloe tees, except for ladies when the red tee is in front.

  • As at the 24th March, the top 6 teams by cumulative points will qualify for the finals

  • Finals to be played Monday 24th March to Thursday 30th March.

  • The weekly green fee must be paid to the Pro Shop prior to playing

  • Only cards supplied by the Starter will be accepted towards a Team’s score. Players will tee off alternate tees (1st or 10th) each week if possible

  • Tuesday’s and Thursdays are still best days for Twilight so please check with Pro Shop for available times if playing on other days of the week

  • Scores from the last 5 weeks of the competition will not be known to the players

Handicaps

  • All handicaps shall be at the discretion of the Handicapper

  • Players must play to their Twilight handicap supplied by the Starter

  • Club handicaps are NOT to be used

  • As per previous years, all rounds in the first 5 weeks will be capped at 23pts to give us sufficient time to make sure all handicaps are as accurate as possible

Presentation Dinner
